The Nu Dream
Lyrics
THE NU DREAM

VERSE 1
It's a picture
Of a new world
One where no one ever lives in poverty
It's a picture
Of a new world
Where all of us can live in harmony

VERSE 2
It's a picture
Of a new way
And the road is clear as long as we give love
It's a picture
Of a new day
Do your part and build a world we're all proud of

CHORUS
It's a Nu way
It's a Nu life
Walk a Nu road
Live a Nu life
Take a step and find the way to make a change
Turn your head and make a choice to rearrange

VERSE 3
See a vision
Of a new path
One that leads us all to better thoughts and goals
Feel a new sense
With a new hope
Where fears no longer fill our hearts and souls

CHORUS
It's a Nu way
It's a Nu life
Walk a Nu road
Live a Nu light
Take a step and find the way to make a change
Turn your head and make a choice to rearrange
Turn around and realize we've got to change

VERSE 4
See a picture
Of a new world
Where no one ever lives in poverty
See a picture
Of a new world
Where all of us can live in harmony

CHORUS
t's a Nu way
It's a Nu life
Walk a Nu road
Live a Nu light
Take a step and find the way to make a change
Turn your head and make a choice to rearrange
Turn around and realize we've got to change

Story Behind the Song:
The Nu Dream was inspired by Ross Harvey's vision of creating what he called a 'NuVo-better world', one person at a time. Peter Kelly and Ross maintained a regular connection via email as Ross was creating his initiative, Eden Project. During that time, Peter came up with the lyrics to The Nu Dream, but, the original idea for the song was about pictures in a photo album. This song is about moving society towards 'heaven on earth', a place where love, peace and equality abound for all...
